Terms & Conditions

Last updated: June 27, 2026

These terms govern your use of The Whole Damn Show ("the Service"), operated by Pievid Productions, Chicago, IL ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these terms.

1. The Service

The Whole Damn Show is web-based software for planning theatrical productions — stage blocking, lighting and sound cues, and prompt books. We provide it on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features over time.

2. Accounts

You must provide a valid email and keep your password secure. You're responsible for activity under your account. You must be old enough to enter a contract in your country. One person or organisation per account unless otherwise agreed.

3. Plans, trials & billing

We offer a free read-only tier and paid plans (Standard and Pro). Paid plans include a 7-day free trial; if you don't cancel before the trial ends, the plan continues and your payment method is charged at the then-current price for your region. Prices are shown in your local currency where supported. Subscriptions renew automatically each period until cancelled.

4. Cancellation & refunds

You can cancel anytime via the billing portal (linked from your account and your welcome email). Cancellation stops future renewals; your access continues until the end of the current paid period. Because a free trial is provided, we generally do not offer refunds for partial periods, except where required by law. [ADJUST TO YOUR REFUND POLICY.]

5. Your content

Scripts, blocking, and other material you upload remain yours. You grant us only the limited licence needed to store and display that content to you and the collaborators you authorise, in order to operate the Service. You're responsible for having the rights to any script or material you upload. We don't claim ownership of your productions.

6. Acceptable use

Don't misuse the Service: no illegal use, no attempts to break, overload, or reverse-engineer it, no uploading of unlawful content, no reselling access without permission. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

7. Third-party services

Payments are processed by Stripe; your card details are handled by Stripe, not stored by us. The Service relies on third-party infrastructure to function. We're not responsible for outages or acts of those providers beyond our control.

8. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided without warranties, and we're not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost data, or lost profits. Nothing here excludes liability that can't legally be excluded. Keep your own backups of important work (we provide an export/backup feature).

9. Changes

We may update these terms; material changes will be notified by email or in-app. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
